As part of its commitment to supporting youth and bridging the gap between education and the labor market, Mikkawi hosted a group of students from the Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University, majoring in Communication and Digital Marketing. This initiative provided students with the opportunity to execute their graduation projects within a real-world work environment, in collaboration with the Palestinian Businessmen Forum.

Hands-on Experience in a Professional Setting

This initiative allowed students to closely explore work mechanisms in the marketing and e-commerce sectors. They engaged in practical experiences related to managing and marketing Mikkawi’s affiliated brands, particularly Newman, Newlady, and Geox, which specialize in fashion and footwear. Additionally, students participated in digital marketing activities, content management, and marketing performance analysis. This experience successfully bridged academic knowledge with practical application, further developing the students' skills in a real work environment.

Participating in the Project Defense Ceremony with Official Attendance

Mikkawi also participated in the project discussion and honoring ceremony held at An-Najah National University's campus. The company was represented by a delegation from the Marketing and Public Relations Department, including Marketing Consultant Mr. Suhaib Dami, Marketing Manager Ms. Razan Sawalha, and Public Relations Manager Ms. Nancy Anabtawi.

The ceremony was attended by several representatives from the Palestinian Businessmen Forum and An-Najah National University, including Mr. Muhannad Akouba, Vice Chairman of the Nablus Businessmen Forum; Mr. Basil Ismail, Secretary of the Forum; Dr. Rafat Al-Jallad, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication; and Dr. Firas Al-Naser, the Project Supervisor, alongside a distinguished group of academics and professionals.

During the event, Mikkawi was honored in recognition of its contribution to supporting students and incubating their projects. This gesture reflects the importance of collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions in preparing young talents and equipping them for their professional careers.

Mikkawi: Investing in Youth is a Priority

Mr. Suhaib Dami, Marketing Consultant at Mikkawi, emphasized the company’s pride in collaborating with An-Najah National University and the Palestinian Businessmen Forum. He highlighted the importance of building genuine bridges of communication between academic institutions and the business sector, which positively impacts students and their career paths.
